Tilting at the New Media

I don’t know who’s idea was to give wise-asses access to Sora’s AI video generation tool for free… but here we are.

This is my first foray into the new, extremely chaotic social media app with “Don Quixote’s Mini Golf” – 18 holes, all windmills!

Sidebar: how we still don’t have a windmill emoji is baffling.

This isn’t the first time I’ve called in the Man of La Mancha, either. I’ve invoked his image before when posting the line, “If you’re going to tilt at windmills, don’t go armed with corn.”

Basically, don’t go into a fight with flimsy tools or arguments, especially if they’ll get chewed up by the challenge at hand (windmills process corn).

And given the current media landscape, I’ve pretty much got no choice but to arm myself with AI tools… at least until I learn Blender, Moho, After Effects, and/or manage to hire a production studio on a minimum-wage day-job budget.
